Hello Hungry Belly

Welcome to mastering the Art of Looking After Yourself!

My name is Noa Martinez and I am a third year International Business and Italian student at University of Strathclyde.

Yes, Strathclyde, that uni which is just in the middle of Glasgow with the high slopes. It is indeed true that us, strathy students, have developed some kind of super legs and glutes by running up and down from lecture to lecture.

Genuinely tying in with this blog's topic matter, food, sports and mental health will be the key topics discussed throughout the different posts you can discover if you keep on reading!

Together, we will cut through the brainy science behind everything to learn why things happen to a more scientific level, down to learning how to make appropriate choices and, consequently, being as happy as those belly buddhas.

I was motivated to focus my blog around these core ideas because I truly believe that it is of great importance finding the right balance between pursuing a healthy lifestyle and not being too harsh on ourselves. This concept sounds very basic and something we normally take for granted, but something that many of us fail to succeed at. At school we can learn many things, but one of the most crucial and yet forgotten is to cherish ourselves as individuals for everything we can do and everything we are.

It takes education, inspiration and discipline to lead a healthy life both mentally and physically. But hey, today is a lucky day because you found this blog, and it will be my mission to share as much as I have discovered in order to build a loving community.

I hope you are by now eager to continue reading and to be part of the Art of Looking After Yourself family. Welcome to my blog, you are now a step closer to discovering my psychology findings, my personal recommendations and my own personal recipes.

Cheers to a happy reading, learning and indulging!

Noa Martinez Hipolito
